Inglewood Care Home

A family run care home,
established in 1987

Welcome to Inglewood

Inglewood is a family run care home, established in 1987. At Inglewood residents enjoy a homely atmosphere within a family environment.

We encourage our residents to live their lives as they wish, enjoying the independence of which they are capable, whilst receiving the support that they may need. Family and friends are welcome to visit at any time and refreshments are always freely available.

Residents are looked after in a safe, caring environment, where all our staff are specifically trained to be able to manage the changing needs of our residents. We maintain a warm, homely, and non-institutional environment where our residents can relax in their own private bedroom, enjoy the lounges and gardens, or participate in the social activities on offer.

Residents and their families tell us that they love our friendly and welcoming family environment, and that is something we are really proud of.

Our values

We aim to enable residents, including those living with dementia, to enjoy each day as fully as possible. The different types of dementia are well understood by our trained care staff. Whether experiencing memory loss, communication difficulties, behavioural changes, or other symptoms, we gently accompany our residents on their journey whilst being encouraging, supportive and reassuring.

Our mission statement

  • To provide care support and an environment of the highest quality possible.
  • To fulfil our mission we are guided by our core values, dignity, respect, kindness, integrity and compassion throughout all our service.

To this end

  • We support our staff to develop and improve the care services they deliver through training and mentoring.
  • We evidence commitment to continuous improvement throughout the service; this is demonstrated within our working practices and our auditing system.
  • We aim to provide a comfortable and homely environment in which we support our residents in liaison with the wider community, including other healthcare professionals.
  • We put people and their individual needs first.
  • We strive to be honest, transparent, fair and ethical in everything we do.
  • We listen and respond to our residents and staff, and support them in any way we can.
  • We encourage our residents and staff to reach their potential.
