Meeting once a month, this lively group is dedicated to organizing activities and improvements for the care home, ensuring that life at Inglewood is filled with joy, purpose, and plenty of cake!

Open to all residents, the Inglewood Owls plan a variety of fun activities and games, ranging from crafting sessions to musical entertainment that they prefer or want. But it’s not all fun and games; the Owls also play an active role in suggesting and implementing improvements to the care home environment, ensuring that residents have a voice and feel empowered in their surroundings.

Of course, no meeting of the Inglewood Owls would be complete without a generous spread of tea, cake, biscuits, and even sherries! It’s a chance for residents to socialise, share laughter, and build lasting friendships.

The driving force behind the Inglewood Owls is Graham, a senior carer at the home and the chairman of the group. “I have such a wonderful time with the Owls,” says Graham. “It’s incredibly rewarding to help residents get involved and see how much they enjoy it. The energy and enthusiasm they bring to each meeting is truly inspiring.”
